Custom Sights

Our sights are all natural Mother of Pearl, Ebony & Abalone.  There are two things that make A.E. Schmidt sights different from the rest.  First and foremost is our ability to customize pool tables in nearly any way you want it.  If you can supply a picture or a drawing, we can produce almost any shape or color to personalize your table's sights.  We see it all the time when we deliver tables to customers' homes.  They might have a collection of figurines, a gun collection or just be very proud of their family name.  Personalizing sights is a great way to show off your passion or pride.  Give us your idea and we can send you sample and give you a quote.

The second difference is the way the sights are installed.  They are installed in the wood first and then sanded flush into the rail.  Many other pool table manufacturers use plastic sights that are installed after the rail is finished.  Our products are natural and, like diamonds, have a "fire" to them that cannot be achieved with cheap plastics.  Installing the sights before sanding avoids the gaps and uneven surfaces your hand will feel everytime it touches the table.
