This particular style of table has come to be an A.E. Schmidt standard over the years. Introduced in the early 1930s, this latest version gives the style a rustic flavor. Shown in knotty alder, it can also be done in aromatic red cedar which is similar in look to knotty pine but far more durable and stable. Oak and maple are also available.
