Shipping

Upon receipt of your order, A.E. Schmidt will start to build your table.  Most tables are completed in approximately thirty days.  Some custom items can take longer, but rarely longer than sixty days. 

At time of completion, we will contact a dealer in your area to install the table.  Table installation typically costs between $300 and $500.  We always look for qualified installers, not necessarily the cheapest. 

The table will be crated and shipped to the specified dealer.  The dealer will then inspect the table and set up a time for delivery and installation.  Upon installation, you will be required to pay the installer the agreed fee.  The installer will ask you to inspect the table to make sure you are satisfied.  The installer will guarantee the set up work and we guarantee the product.

Certain areas of the country that are remote or difficult to access by truck lines can incur extra fees and delay in delivery.  A.E. Schmidt does not guarantee specific transit times or delivery schedules.

The dealer that your table will be shipped to will not store your table for a long period of time.  Typically, they will not store your table for more than a couple weeks.  Let us know when you are ready for your table and we will plan accordingly.

A.E. Schmidt represents its products as well as we can through our website.  Any questions, changes or concerns need to be addressed before the item is shipped.  Any samples you may need will be sent to you at no charge.  Tables are a natural product so some degree of tolerance must be expected on colors and wood tones.  All colors will vary slightly from the sample.
